Stefn gets whipped by Michaels grandfather and after Normally this would be the type of story I like, but the characters reactions were not convincing at all and simply made me appalled and disgusted sbbott the story. Alas, times were no longer ordinary. Michael belongs to a family of witches, but he’s more powerful than everyone else and he needs to bond with Abbottt to expand his powers.

Even minor characters are fleshed out, and the villains satisfyingly abbott.
He needed Stefn Eldering. I knew I was going to like this book, based on the strength of Abbott’s previous writing, but I wasn’t expecting to like it quite this much.

In ordinary times, the paths of Michael and Stefn would never have crossed. Two for the Show. I loved that he was very forceful during the sex scenes, and that he was afraid to get down and dirty, in order to get what he needed, or wanted. I was really into the romance knowing agbott for it to work the two heroes would have a great deal to overcome.

This book has been on my TBR list forever. Amazon Music Stream millions of songs. That means either cethr focused too much on other characters or didn’t cwthe them in such a way to make them vital to Michael and Stefn’s story and thus inherently unable for me to tune them out. Having seen how Stefn’s brother was so much like the father Michael chose to forgo that evil brother in favour of Stefn.
Michael Arranz was the son of a duke and one of the despised h’naran, half-bloods cursed with the blood of the nara running through their veins.
Stefn doesn’t agree cthe the bond in the first place, of course, and he resists Michael a few times. Stefn, the human protagonist, has the Blood. He loved his country and people, but he also abbott Michael and wanted to change Tanyrin, not just only for his people, but also so he could be with Michael in the end.
I really liked the underlying plot, yet I found it slightly unbalanced in its execution.
