There would always be something greater then God’s wisdom-namely, the supposed wisdom of one’s intellectual starting point. What I did get from that section was, again, his ability to expose alwys fallacious thinking in the unbeliever. That being said, I would not give this book to someone who isn’t already a Christian, because the language can come across as “narrow-minded” due to the nature of the topic.

Looking for beautiful books? Hopefully, in the long run, it did more than that. He is the judge: How can an atheist ever make a moral judgment if morals are merely a sequence of atoms smashing around in his brain that produce a stimulus in the body that causes a reaction?
Unfortunately, this repetition is the only thing about this book that I found a bit tiresome. He also launches some decent objections against various defeaters to the Christian’s theological beliefs. Davitor, Please, by all means, ask God for answers. Davitor November 8, My disagreements at this point would not be developed enough to critique it to my satisfaction; that is, this is an ongoing debate and I am not knowledgable enough to feel I fully readt the view first.
Geg argues in a circle. Thanks Dan, I’m not an atheist, and all I am trying to point to here, is to show the logical dilemma Armenian’s face were we have a God who is dependent on man’s choice and a Calvinist where the chosen one’s can only find themselves going against God’s will. I would recommend this book to any Christian who is wishing to understand his faith more, This book was an eye-opener for me alwahs far as Christian apologetics is concerned.
I am not sure how Bahnsen would answer that. And some Plantinga while you’re at it.

Paul warns that Christ should be our starting point so that as verse 4 indicates, “no aleays may delude [us] with persuasive argument. I’ll have to check it out. After writing all of this I just realized who The Apologetic Front is now, he is no stranger to any of this.
The book has short chapters to start with, which make the reader feel like he is accomplishing something great, and altho I will confess that I was a bit leery of picking bahnsrn this book, because of the intellectual powerhouse that I know Bahnsen to be. This book is an essential part of any apologist’s training, and since all Bahnzen are to be apologists, we should all read this book.
Definitely not a subject that is commonly addressed in philosophy nor in theology. I have listened to dozens of his lectures, and have always admired his ability to articulate very complex categories of thought.
